NUK has been developing products to help babies’ oral development for over 60 years. In 1947, a German doctor and dentist team developed the NUK orthodontic nipple. It revolutionized feeding by offering for the first time a nipple that was close to natural and that enhanced babies’ oral development.

We are continually researching and developing new products. For instance, we created special orthodontic nipples for individuals with special needs, such as craniofacial birth defects like cleft palate and cleft lips. Moreover pacifier and nipples for premature babies and special therapeutic pacifiers for speech impediments. For many years we provide this range to the medical community all over the world.
