Perfect for beginners!
My grandson who is just learning to eat gets frustrated at the size of some spoons or forks. They either end up slipping out of his hand or he continuously drops them. When I received this product free for my honest opinion. I was extremely excited for him to try the Nuk Pretensil Dipper Spoon and Fork. The spoon and fork are easy to grip. The fork is unique in its way it's very flexible and he's able to pick up the smallest of pieces on his Fork. The spoon has little grooves in it that help keep the mashed potatoes on his spoon instead of falling off of it onto the plate. This set is the perfect set for beginner eating. They are dishwasher safe and BPA safe.

Perfect starter set
This spoon and fork set was the perfect starter for our 7 month old. The short, thick handles make it easy for her to hold onto and get to her mouth. I especially like the 'guard' on the spoon that allows her to suck on it without accidentally gagging herself and I'm thankful she has the chance to practice feeding herself in a safe way. Our baby has used this set for yogurt and purees and I was so pleased with how well most of the food stayed on the spoon and fork all the way to her mouth. I was given this feeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it has been just right for the beginning of independent eating for our daughter.

Good for Self Feeders
I received this Nuk pretinsil set as part of Stellars testing panel. It seems to be well designed- the tines easily pick up food like fruit and the spoon has a backing so softer food won’t fall off. My baby is 9 mo old and in the “throw everything off the high chair” mode so unfortunately I wasn’t able to get him to do much with the pretinsils. He was able to hold them easily himself and eat fruit off them when I fed him. He hasn’t reached the stage where he’s able to feed himself with utensils yet so I’m not able to give the most thorough review. I think these will be great when he’s a little older or for babies that have already been feeding themselves!

Best first utensil set
Really love this utensil set. My son is always trying to grab the spoon when I feed him. One of the best features about these is that they have a guard part that keeps him from accidentally gagging himself on the spoon or fork by shoving them too far down his throat which he always does. And they are the perfect size for his hands.
The spoon has been great for purées and keeping them from falling right off when he turns the spoon over and the fork has been great as we’ve been starting solids.
Wish I had these when my daughter was starting out eating.
I am so glad I received these items as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I think this set is really innovative and smart
I was really impressed with this utensil set, especially the fork! Baby utensils are all the same, short little stubby forks and spoons... but this Nuk Pretensil Set is different! We haven't used the spoon a ton just because we don't do a lot of purees or yogurts, but I can totally see how it would work better. We have been using the fork and its so clever - all the flexible tines make it so much easier to get food on the fork which makes it so much better for my little guy!
I was given this feeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but this review is all me! I think this is a really neat "pretensil" set and worth the buy.

Great for BLW
I received this through the Stella’s Product Testing Panel.
This would be great for a baby just beginning Baby led weaning. My son is a little older, 13 months, but still liked using it for his yogurt. The design of the spoon allows thicker liquids like yogurt to stick to it easily, no matter which way he puts it in. So it was less mess and less frustration for him since it didn’t slide off like it does a regular spoon.
The fork would be better for younger babies, with mushier food. He’s already been using a regular fork so couldn’t quite figure this out.
This set is great, my only con would be that it has a short life span.

Great starter utensil set
Enjoyed testing out and trying with my daughter the NUK Pretensil Set. And thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this feeding accessory! My daughter was very interested in trying the fork and spool, they were easy to use and helpful. My daughter is a bit on the older end (18 months), however for these tools, but the fork provided some good practice in control and how to spear various foods. With that said, these are pretty perfect tools and I had a similar set of the spoon / dipper when my daughter was younger. The NUK set is much better made, though, and I will likely buy another set when my second daughter reaches food eating age.

Great for the price
We’ve been doing BLW for over six months now and have used different utensil sets from different brands. This set is much cheaper than others but works pretty well. My baby likes the fork more and enjoys eating spaghetti with it. The spoon that comes in the set is good for mashed food and thicker oatmeals. Overall compared to more expensive sets this is a great one but I only wish it came with a cleaning brush since the spoon has grooves and the fork has extra tines and sometimes smaller pieces of food get trapped in them.Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this feeding accessory.
