Perfect for beginners! My grandson who is just learning to eat gets frustrated at the size of some spoons or forks. They either end up slipping out of his hand or he continuously drops them. When I received this product free for my honest opinion. I was extremely excited for him to try the Nuk Pretensil Dipper Spoon and Fork. The spoon and fork are easy to grip. The fork is unique in its way it's very flexible and he's able to pick up the smallest of pieces on his Fork. The spoon has little grooves in it that help keep the mashed potatoes on his spoon instead of falling off of it onto the plate. This set is the perfect set for beginner eating. They are dishwasher safe and BPA safe.

The utensils were okay. The spoon one wasn’t really necessary because it couldn’t pick much up. They are pretty good for left and right handed eaters and the colors were nice for a boy. I think the spoon should have more of a bowl form and no hole in it
