These were great and I loved them…was able to do food prep for my baby! I also used them to put different finger foods to give her throughout the day. I randomly tired something and it tasted like soap. I was horrified I’d been feeding her soapy food all day but I figured I hadn’t washed it well. I scrubbed it and made sure it was throughly rinsed. Turns out it kept making all my food taste like soap. I have no idea how long I’d been giving her soapy tasting food but it’s probably been awhile :(. I tried rinsing with vinegar in warm water like people suggested but all of them spelt like soap despite it.

Measurements are incorrect
This holds much more than 1 oz per section. At least 2 if not 2.5 per section. You can guestimate and only partially fill each segment in order to get a smaller portion. Not sure why the packaging and marketing shows "9, 1oz portions", and all of the photos show the sections filled.
Aside from that, this works for the purpose. I do have a little trouble getting food to release from the segments but not too much. It is very flimsy so it has to be set on something flat and carried very carefully before it is frozen. The deep sections do allow for pockets to form in the food if it is a thicker consistency.

Optimize freezer space and durable
I loved how the cubes were perfectly portioned and the container had the cubes side by side. There is no bulky extra space in between to take up extra freezer space, which is great because my freezer is always full. I guess in exchange for that, you do have to push out and wiggle the cubes out a bit harder than the other brands that do flex due to the extra spacing. Either way, silicone is great for me to not worry about dropping or breaking, easy to clean and light. Looking forward to using as an ice cube tray once we are done with pureeing baby food.

I make my sons baby food. The flexible freezer tray makes it so easy to freeze his food. I just freeze it, pop it out, put it in baggies.

Brand new with strong odor - can’t wash out
I purchased two of these on Amazon after reading good reviews.
Unfortunately, they have a very strong smell right out of the package that didn’t come out from soaking with unscented, dye-free baby dish soap.
I was really disappointed. I’m concerned that additives in the silicone could leach into the food. I’m going to see if I can return them.
I know silicone can pick up smells over time from food, but this is a chemical smell right out of the packaging!
I previously have used lekue and le crueset silicone products with NO odor issues!

Perfect Sizes!
We threw together homemade baby food cubes and these worked great! We portioned them out into the trays, leaving room for expansion during the freezing process, and then popped them out, and threw them in freezer contains so we had fresh meals for months to come! Once we got out of purees they're the perfect size for toddler popsicles! They're also a nice size for ice cubes for water bottles. They may have had one purpose, but we've used them for several and have zero complaints. There was a tad bit of staining, but nothing to throw them away over.

Perfect for breastmilk
I use these to freeze breast milk and then put the cubes in the sterile plastic storage bags. That way I know just how much I am putting in and it is easier to warm up when needed!

great for making own babyfood
I bought this product 4 years ago and had to buy more when I had my second son 6 months ago. Great product for us making our own babyfood. Perfect portions. Definitely would recommend to any new parent looking to make their own food for the little one.
