Nuk Pretensil Set
The Nuk Pretensil Set was easy for my kiddo to use and hold. We love how lightweight it was and had a super comfortable grip. We tried mainly mashed foods for our kiddo to try with this set. He loved playing with the set instead of really eating with them. Our favorite feature of this set was the grip handle because it was truly comfortable for both parents to hold for their kiddo and also for our kid to hold on his own. Thanks to the Stellar Testing Panel for allowing us to use this Pretensil Set in exchange for our honest feedback!

Easy
This set was the exactly what was needed to start using utensils for my little one. He grabbed them right away and understood how to use after a few test runs. The fork was his favorite since he was able to get more food. However, food easily got stuck in the center and was a tad bit harder to wash out. The spoon design was neat. It picked up softer items with a dip. The handle was easy for him to hold and fit perfectly in his hands in a more accurate ratio. I received for free as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

NUK Pretencil Set
The NUK Pretencil Set has gorgeous packaging and is appealing to the eye. The utensils are a great neutral gray color to match any household and baby gender. I was excited to try these out with my just-turned 1 year old. The utensils were easy for my baby to hold, but they weren’t very effective at delivering food to her mouth. The spoon was the better of the two utensils and works well with yogurt type consistencies. Unfortunately, the fork was not helpful and would jam full of food rendering it pretty useless. We tried black beans, avocado, and tuna salad with the fork. My baby hurt her gums on the fork a few times, so she didn’t prefer to use it. My favorite feature of this set was definitely the spoon and the overall esthetic. This product is just ok for our household. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Great concept for age appropriate
I received this feeding accessory from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My baby is currently 6.5 months and when trying to use these it did not go well as I believe he was too young to introduce the product. I really liked the quality of the utensils and the concept that they had. I will try and reintroduce them to my baby in about another month.

Good option for true beginners
I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The utensils themselves have good grip and are super lightweight and easy to pack/travel with. The spoon doesnt carry very much and the fork tends to get a lot of food stuck up top. I think these utensils would be great for babies who are just starting out with utensils, but if your toddler is already getting the hang of the more pronounced utensils (sharper fork, deeper spoons), then I'd hold off on getting this set.

great concept for learning to self feed
I enjoyed watching my son use the Nuk fork and spoon set. The set itself is very easy to grasp for small hands and came in a nice neutral color choice. He had an easy time using each utensil as he navigated mealtime. My son seemed to favor the spoon over the fork, as he had a more difficult time getting food out of the internal prongs of the fork. I also has a little bit of a difficult time cleaning the fork after mealtime after certain soft foods. My son ate yogurt, chicken, meatballs, macaroni and cheese and fruit with the set so far. My favorite feature of the set is that its easy for little hands to use. I like the design and the color of the set. Thank you to the Stellar Testing Panel for providing me with this Nuk fork and spoon set.

Good learning set
This set is good for young eaters. My son is 1 and is beginning to learn to use utensils so I was excited to receive this set from the Stellar Parent Panel. The “spoon” utensil holds on to yogurt very well! The “fork” also works for soft things but didn’t poke meats well.

Perfect Training Tool for my Infant
My 16 month old daughter is getting so good at utilizing these utensils. It was getting time to teach her how to use utensils so I'm so glad we received these to try. The utensils are perfect for our little one and she caught on so fast. Of course I would like to believe that is because we have a little genius but I guess I can give a little credit to the product. It seems like such a simple thing but I would definitely recommend getting this product if you are wanting to teach your little one how to start using utensils.
These are very easy to clean and are dishwasher safe. If you are looking for a tool that will help you transition your little one to use their own utensils, look no further!

Our Favorite Utensil
My little one loves to feed herself, but utensils aren’t always the easiest (or safest) for her to use. Mom and dad love these for our little independent girl and she loves them too! She can easily pick up her food or use the spoon to dip and catch more yogurt or applesauce. The size is perfect for her and she seems to be enjoying this set of utensils. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this feeding accessory.

Great First Utensil Set
I was a little weary of this utensil set - my guy is 11 months old but just doesn't quite seem ready for a fork especially, but I was pleasantly surprised!
The spoon is a feat of engineering - I don't know how something so flat holds onto anything, but it does! I used it for yogurt, applesauce, and other foods of similar consistency, and it really does stick to it pretty well! My son also grasped it easily, and didn't struggle with which end to use, like he has with other utensils.
The fork is a great beginner fork! My son can't quite "stab" food himself yet, but if I pre-loaded the food, he was so proud to use it all by himself! My only complaints with the fork are 1) food like rice can get stuck in the inner section, and it's hard for the baby to get it out themselves, and 2) the tines are a little too flexible in my opinion - they bent a little after the first use.
Overall, I definitely recommend this set! It's a great way to start building independent eating. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Nuk fork and spoon
I was able to try out the spoon and fork set from nuk. I think they look very nice, and feel great. They were easy for my baby to hold. He did have a little trouble getting food with the fork. However the spoon worked great. He ate mashed potatoes with it and when turned upside down they don’t fall off. I think it’s a very unique design. That is definitely my favorite thing about the set is the spoon. I received and tested this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel

Perfect
I love these utensils!!!! They are perfect as my son is learning to use them and they have the safety plate that keeps them from being able to put the spoon or fork too far into their mouth. The fork takes a pretty good amount of force to get food (pieces of meat and potato) on it so I have to help him but that’s ok. The spoon keeps food on it well (yogurt, mashed potatoes, purées).
My son also likes to chew on these for teething!
They’ve been easy to clean and have been through my dishwasher many times.
I received these items as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I am glad I did!

Missed the mark
I have mixed feelings about this fork and spoon set from NUK and the reason why is
because my seventeen month old son was able to effectively use the fork to pick up
spaghetti, corn, rice, chicken, oatmeal, fruit, you name it but was unable to remove all the food from the fork due to the prongs being closely placed together. Since food was continuously stuck in the prongs my husband and I had to keep interrupting dinner time with our son to remove excess food within the prongs with a toothpick. You could imagine that our son wasn't happy about this but we wanted to make sure he was able to eat his meal. We have another fork and spoon set that we haven't used much because we have the opposite problem, the prongs are so far apart that he can't grasp the food with the fork. So this was definitely disappointing since it started off so promising in the beginning.
If I had to pick something I liked about this fork and spoon set from NUK it would be that the utensils fit in my son's hands very well and that he could actually pick up his food. Other than that, I would say it's back to the drawing board on this utensil set. I was given this feeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Perfect for chewing and eating
I was gifted these infant utensils through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My baby is 10 months and is an avid food eater. What I love about this set in particular is that I don’t have to worry about her chewing them between bites. Some other infant silverware can be too pointy or too hard for chewing if that makes sense. These have a little flexibility and she has a great time mimicking her older siblings eating!

Perfect for little eaters
I received this feeding accessory from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
The NUK pretensil set is the perfect duo for little eaters who are learning to use utensils at meal time. I really enjoyed watching my 9 month old baby eat with these and learn different ways to bring food from her plate to her mouth. One of my favorite features of this set was the grooves in the spoon. This helped my baby be able to “scoop” food onto her spoon with ease and held it there while maneuvering the spoon. Another favorite feature is the prongs in the middle of the fork which really helped my daughters slippery foods stay in place. Last, the dipper has a guard which is great for kids who might put the spoon in too far.
My baby was able to eat all kinds of food with this set to include soft fruits like bananas, peaches, and even strawberries, thicker soups and purées, and softened/steamed vegetables. The pretensils were able to pick up these foods with no issues at all.
This set was easy for my baby to use and hold on to. The handles are perfect for tiny hands and my baby was able to bring food to her mouth with ease. These are perfect for babies learning to eat with utensils and I highly recommend trying them out!

We loved the NUK Pretensil
Our 10 month old took to solids naturally when we first introduced him to baby led weaning at 6 months old, but it wasn't until we offered him the NUK Pretensil Set that he started to take to utensils. They facilitate managing a wide variety of foods! The size, circumference, and weight of the utensils are perfect for his little, yet growing hands. The dipper spoon is perfect for greek yogurt, oatmeal, and basil pesto. The fork was fun to try with bowtie pasta, slippery mango, and cubes of sweet potato. We feel so luck that Stellar Product Testing Panel introduced us to these NUK Pretensils!

Nuk utensils
I received this product for free from Stellar Product Testing Panel for my honest review. I really like the spoon. My daughter enjoys using it and does a great job. Food like oatmeal sticks to it long enough so she can get it in her mouth without it slipping off and getting everywhere, which is what I like about it the most. The fork has not been as great for us so far. It doesn’t allow her to grab food as a regular metal fork does. But we will keep trying it with different foods.

Solid Utensil Set for Starting Solid Food
This is a great utensil starter set! They're a great size and easy to hold for little hands while not being too small for adult hands. They're also a good size for little mouths. My nearly 9-month-old daughter transitioned to this set easily. She also loved playing with them.
My biggest issue was sometimes food, especially purees, got stuck in the folds of the fork. It fared better in the dishwasher than hand washing it.

NUK Pretensil Set for 6 mo
I received a NUK Pretensil Set from Stellar Product Testing Panel just when my baby started her first solids at 6 months old. I loved the ecofriendly packaging & BPA free material; Baby loved the texture and shape of the Pretensils, so much so that she actually ate some first foods! We tried these with baby oatmeal & well puréed sweet potato to start. Baby liked to explore the texture of the Pretensil in her mouth - both when we held it, & she held it - and in doing so explored some first foods too. We will continue to use them as Baby grows - the fork Pretensil will be more appropriate to an older baby.

Great first utensil set for early eaters
Our 9-month-old loved the easy-to-use Pretensil Set from NUK. Many thanks to the Stellar Review Panel for providing me with this set in exchange for my honest feedback.
This set helps to give little ones some self-feeding practice without having to worry about sensitive baby gums and teeth chomping down on sharper adult utensils. Both the fork and spoon are sized appropriately for older babies and toddlers, with comfy, grippy handles for small hands (see blackberry in photo for scale). The fork ‘prongs’ are made of a smooth plastic but plentiful and narrow enough that it’s possible to spear food and get it into one’s mouth without it falling off on the way. The spoon is flat with a collar around the middle, so babies and toddlers can scoop puréed and softer foods into their mouths without it sliding back down the handle, even when they inevitably hold the spoon vertically.
Our nine-month-old son is still early in his self-feeding journey, so he isn’t always successful at getting food from his high chair tray into his mouth, but he loved experimenting with this set, and I felt good knowing that he was safe as he learned. He often chewed on the spoon and fork without food on them, just enjoying the texture on his teething gums. We ran the fork and spoon through the dishwasher on hot several times, and both held up perfectly.
If I had one minor criticism, it would be that the fork can trap food at the base of the tongs, and even after a run through the dishwasher one time, I had to remove some berry residue using a sharp knife, but this is certainly not a dealbreaker. Overall this is a high-quality utensil set for helping babies and toddlers practice some eating independence.

Awesome beginner utensil set for baby
I received the Nuk Pretensil Set as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I’m so glad I did. I love everything about this starter utensil set for my soon-to-be 1 year old. The utensils themselves are small enough for baby to easily pick up and maneuver themselves, and the material they’re made of does not get slippery even when wet.
I love that the ‘fork’ has multiple rows of soft prongs, which make it super easy for baby to get the food off the end without poking himself like he would with a more typical metal-pronged fork. The spoon is also really cool because it’s flat with a grooved surface that captures food inside it, allowing baby to get all the food off it, unlike a traditional spoon where baby has trouble getting all the food out of the dip in the spoon!
My baby is too young to really load his own utensils but he loves eating off this pre-loaded spoon and fork set and food does not fall off if he rotates the utensils every which way and smacks them around on the way to his face :) Highly recommend this set, as it’s one that baby can learn from and grow with over time. I’m already planning to buy more of these!

Great product
This utensil set was great. My child was able to use these easy. My child was able to feed themselves without any help. My child ate meat with the fork one and potatoes with the spoon. My child also ate apple sauce and oranges with them. I loved how easily my child could use them and how they are dishwasher safe. Great set for early eaters
This set is much better than the standard plastic forks and spoons for baby feeding. My twelve month old has been getting spoons to her mouth for months but we've not done much with forks. This was a really great introduction because the fork grabs food between the tines. At first, I thought this was a flaw because food can occasionally get stuck between the sections. But, my baby was able to chew the fork and have the food come out. Both utensils were easy for my baby to hold. My husband thought the spoon was slightly less useful and not round enough to keep food on, so not a five star set but a really great option!

Nuk Pretensil set
I received these items as a part of the stellar panel and could not wait to use them with my little! She is a little under a year old and she self feeds but we have been struggling getting her to understand the concept of traditional utensils- this is where the Nuk pretensils came to save the day! They are a lot easier for her to maneuver and scoop up her food. Another feature that mama loves is that it’s harder for her to fling said foods when she decides to wave her fork or spoon around! It’s a win for everyone lol. My only minor complaint about the pretensils is that our household eats a lot of quinoa and it often gets packed up and trapped in the fork. It isn’t a huge deal, just a little harder for her to get to. With that being said, she had no problem scooping her yogurts, chia pudding, or cottage cheeses with either pretensil! Definitely recommend if you have an independent little who loves to self feed and do things for themselves! It’s the perfect transitional utensils.

Good Utensils
Nice utensil set for a baby just starting out. My son is a toddler now but we received these and just had to test! He is a little passed the stage where I think this utensil would be most beneficial; however, it was fun to test out and he was easily able to use them. I think the trident fork if perfect for a little one just starting to do solids and gain the dexterity of using utensils.

Great for BLW
I received this through the Stella’s Product Testing Panel.
This would be great for a baby just beginning Baby led weaning. My son is a little older, 13 months, but still liked using it for his yogurt. The design of the spoon allows thicker liquids like yogurt to stick to it easily, no matter which way he puts it in. So it was less mess and less frustration for him since it didn’t slide off like it does a regular spoon.
The fork would be better for younger babies, with mushier food. He’s already been using a regular fork so couldn’t quite figure this out.
This set is great, my only con would be that it has a short life span.

NUK pretensil set
I was given this feeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really loved the look and the feel of the packaging and the material used to make the pretensil set! It is grey in color and soft to the touch. Favorite feature of the spoon is the texture of the material used and how easy it was for my baby to hold. My baby loved to just chew on it LOL. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star is that it's a little difficult to clean the fork. Thank you!

Not My Favorite
I was very excited to try these out when I received them from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but I was disappointed in them. I did like that they seem well made and the material is great for infants/toddlers that don't have all their chompers yet, but I was not a fan of the design, especially of the fork. The spread out tines make it difficult both for my baby to eat with and for me to clean. Food tended to either slide right off the end or get stuck down inside all the tines. The spoon, however I did like, though I had mixed feelings about the drip guard on the handle. While it certain helps keep food from running down onto their hands, it also can make it a bit awkward for an infant/toddler who is just learning how to angle and direct utensils into their mouth. Overall, it was a good quality product, but I think the design needs further development.
