Minimal LeakingMy 15 month old loves these cups. We have 4 of them. She uses them at daycare and at home. She is very rough with her cups and these are one the few that do not crack when thrown and leak very minimal. Generally it only leaks the milk that is between the valve and opening. We have had them for about 6 months. It took her a few tries to get the hang of drinking out of them. I removed the valve a few times to help her realize where the milk comes from.

Works for what I was looking forI have 2 of these cups for more than 1 year now, it works well. it has leaked (a drop of two, not free flowing) when I did not insert the valve properly. The cover at valve insert has not cracked. I do not put it in the microwave nor in the dish washer, I have always hand washed them. I have also used the cup without the valve. Another reason it works for me is I change elevation when going home, the cups with straws leaks as we go uphill.

I bought the 2-Pack about a month ago. My toddler and I really like the cups. My toddler likes them because "food does not get in the cup while drinking" :0) Unfortunately, the valve insert area(not the valve insert) has cracked and the cups makes a hissing sound. We can no longer use the cups.

AwesomeI bought these like 6 months or so ago and I have a rough little boy and neither of these have cracked where the others are complaining about. It’s been the best cup so far.

Just get it!I have a total of 6 of these cups, and we've been using them for 4 years. My son is really rough with them. They've been thrown to the ground (even onto concrete sidewalks and driveways), dropped from highchairs, kicked... and not a single crack has appeared in ANY of them. The valves never fall out and are actually sometimes hard to get out for washing. Just twist it as you pull it out, if that happens. The insulation keep drinks cold for a good 5-6 hours, and they wash well in the dishwasher. I've never had one warp or crack in the dishwasher. I DO wash the valves and lids by hand. It's got some hard to reach places that I feel a dishwasher can't clean well enough. If just water was used in it, every piece gets thrown into the dishwasher. I have accidently broken the silicone valve by washing with a straw cleaner too vigorously, but you can buy replacement valves on Amazon. (Message to Nuk: I'd rather buy straight from Nuk, but you don't give the option! It would be amazing if you would allow customers to buy just replacement valves!) I've never had any of the problems other reviews have said, and I honestly think those things happen way less than they do. Just give the cups a try. These are our favorites out of every other brand we've used. Once we found these we never went back to another!

Only sippy cups we useI have only experienced the lids cracking on these if I put them in the dishwasher and run them on the hottest cycle. The lower temp/easy wash I think it is on my counter top dishwasher, doesn't cause this. I usually just hand wash them anyways because we use them so frequently. I just wanted to clear that issue up for everyone. These are the only cups I can find that my son doesn't manage to chew up. The silicone ones are destroyed upon first use. He chews through the spouts of the cheap plastic ones. He'll even chew through the cup itself which is why these insulated ones last. He can't chew the spout off since there really isn't one and he's chewed through the outer plastic on these but never the inner one. I originally started buying these when my son was younger because I'd heard that continued use of a nipple could impact speech abilities. Now, I keep purchasing them because my son has autism and often doesn't place his cup on the table like he's supposed to. I know it's not supportive of his delayed development issues but, I can't watch him every second of every day and I'm just tired of having to run the carpet cleaner over our tired worn out carpet. There's only so many spills furniture can take too. The only thing that would be helpful for me is if they were more affordable. I've cut back on purchasing them for this reason. We used to have 10-12 cups around the house but now we just have 5.
As for the review stating that there's not enough of a description about how the cups work, I fail to see how that is even remotely relevant. They don't leak, plain and simple. If you're that curious why don't you just buy one and find out?
