Our favorite
We've bought a few straw sippy cups for our 12 month old and this is our favorite. I've noticed the other straw sippy cups are really hard to drink from, even for me as an adult. This one is a more natural straw that doesn't require a super-human jaw but still has the benefit of being leak-proof and easy to hold. We've only used it for water so-far so haven't had any issues with cleaning it.

Looks nice, but has flaws.
I wanted to love this cup, but I just can’t. It doesn’t necessarily leak when on its side or upside down, however, liquid tends to remain in the top part of the straw and ends up everywhere.

Nice design, but wouldn't buy again.
Pros:
- Weighted straw helps little ones get water no matter how they drink
Cons:
- Hard to clean
- Not Durable
- Replacement Parts aren't available (not eco-friendly!)
The weight on the straw cracked and there aren't replacements available. Feel horribk having to throw away a perfectly good cup because one piece broke and the company just wants to make more money and force us to buy more.

frusterated and feel like money was wasted
I haven't even had this cup for two weeks .... I loved it at first great concept doesnt break when thrown can close the lid color is nice and it actually works being that my child is tongue tied.....what I don't appreciate it for the price it only lasting two weeks... the bottoms piece if the straw no longer fits to the the piece that connects it to the mouth piece and just falls off like it stretched... so now with a very angry child and now angry mama I really wish it came with instructions on either A how to fix this B. A warning that this happens and an extra straw is provided or here's there best option C. That is didnt happen at all and it last more then 2 weeks... like come on!

Need replacement straws
My son is three and on the spectrum. This is the only cup that he will drink out of but he chews through the straws so fast and I have to throw out a perfectly good cup because there are no replacement straws. Not only that, it adds up having to buy them so often.

I loved it until I learned about the mold growing!
I am so ANGRY. I thought I was cleaning the cup correctly. There is no Instruction on how to clean the cap. Beware of the cap holding in moisture and then creating mold!!!!! I had to pop off the top piece in order to see it and

Does not stay together
We got this cup a month ago to transition my son off of bottles, he took right to it and loves it. The only problem is the tube that connects to the straw constantly falls off and if that doesn’t fall off the weighted portion will fall off making it useless and a very angry kid that can’t get milk out. I really wish there was a way to fix this because it is super frustrating and we love the cup before it started to do this. We have six of these cups and all but two this is happening to.

Weight Broken
I loved the style of these cups. I bought 6 over the past year. ALL of the cups I purchased have cracks on the weight. 4 out of 6 the weight has completely broken off after cracking and I threw away the broken part.
When I reached out to customer service they state they will not send replacement parts.
I only have receipt for 2 cups.
Way too hard to have issue resolved.
I wish there was a way to keep using the cups I already purchased, but sadly I do not think I will be purchasing another NUK cup and will recommend others don't either.

Cracked weighted straw
One day found that the weighted straw has cracked! It is getting rust and that’s extremely dangerous for my baby! She’s been drinking from that cup.

Doesn’t last
I bought this cup to wean my son from the sippy cup he was using for milk, and it worked great for that. But one month in and the straw that connects the valve to the weight has stretched out at both ends, and will no longer hold the weight. It has always been hand washed, so I know it’s not heat distortion from a dishwasher. Disappointing.

Straw needs redesigned
Loved this cup except the straw stopped holding together after a month. Would literally fall apart inside the cup.
Did leak some prior to that but was manageable.

Twisting lid growing mold
I bought this a few months ago and it was great at first. I would wash and rinse with a small scrubber to get through straw. However, I started to notice something strange where the lid twists, so although it was hard to remove, I found mold growing underneath the twisting part of the lid. I am not one to share reviews but thought it would be helpful to other mothers to consider before buying this weighted straw cup for toddlers.

Great, but lid traps water
I just bought these cups and our boys love them. The only thing that is concerning is that when you wash everything and shake the lid it sounds like water is stuck inside. If you continue to hit it on a towel/counter the water comes out. It worries me that water is still in there and not going to dry fully, because it could create mold. If there is a better way to wash/dry the lid, I would appreciate the recommendation, because we like them otherwise.

Disappointed
My son loves this cup unfortunately it gives me nothing but problems. The pieces inside keep falling apart and make it impossible to drink out of after only one use. This would have been the perfect cup to get him off the sippy cups only the product it’s self is unable to be used. The pieces inside of this cup for the straw keep coming undone. I don’t know if we got a bad one or if it’s the design of the product.

Poor Design/Quality
I bought this and within one day the straw would come apart with the slightest movement. When dry it works but when wet it will disassemble making it unable for my kid to drink and ultimately causing tantrums while I fish it out and try to reattach. After a couple days of struggling the weight began to not attach either and fall out instantaneous.
Having great experience with NUK before I thought it was a fluke and bought a second one. It was not the a fluke, the weight on the second one was unable to stay put together after one day.
Very frustrating and not the quality I'd expect from NUK.

Straw
I love this cup, I was using a similar one from another brand, but it leaked bad. This one is great, but there is one major problem, the straw falls apart in the cup constantly. It didn’t at first, but after a few washes now it won’t stay together. I’m so disappointed, because everything else is great.

Straw coming apart
My son will only drink his milk out of this cup and I’ve only had put for about 3 month and now the straw will not stay together. It’s the most annoying think I have to tip his cup to his face just to get the milk out for him.

Great idea but not lasting
Bought this a while ago (still within a year I think) and I my son loves it and easy to use. However the weight on the straw cracked and leaking rust, not sure how or where the rust is from. But I won’t be using that straw again. Can’t find replacement and to reach to ask for one you gotta give them all your info

Toddler proof
I have been through a lot of straw cups for my 18 month old to take to preschool. She hulk smashes lids and rips them apart. The cups her brother used were a science experiment to her. I bought this one after trying out the Nuk for Natural hard spout sippy cup for a product testing panel. Since that worked so well, I thought it might be worth investing in a cup where we could cover the drinking surface. The twisting action on this lid is smooth enough for her to be able to open it independently, bit she can't rip it apart, so it stays clean and protected at school. I like that the cups are environmentally friendly (ecause I've had to buy roughly 5000 different plastic cups to find one that works) and they're pretty easy to clean. I throw the straw parts in a bottle basket in the dishwasher and I have brush to get in the holes if needed. Wash it with the lid fully open so that water and food bits don't get in the straw pocket. I have one complaint: one of our straw weights developed a crack and is discolored, which is disappointing since were only 2 months into the school year. I'm going to replace it, obviously, because it works so well for us. I wish I could buy just a replacement straw part, though, instead of a whole new cup. Okay, wait, 2 complaints: more colors! We'd get a whole rainbow if we could!

Double the trouble from
Poor quality
We had the older version of this cup with my daughter and we LOVED it. It went through the ringer. This updated version is utter crap. My son who just turned one got this cup as a gift and we used it once and the drink leaks out the straw when you close it also when it’s lightly dropped on carpet. Also he dropped it not even 3 feet and the top part of the lid came apart! I’ll just have to spend the extra money and find someone selling the older version

To hard to suck
I typically love NUK products, however, I am not a big fan of this cup. I love the concept but it is so difficult to suck the liquid through the straw. I used it myself and found it challenging.

Baby loves it
Gifted from stellar review for my honest opinion. This sippy cup is very handy and my babies loves it. They like how they tip it up, but still comes out of the straw. It’s also very easy to clean and use and gender neutral. I definitely recommend this product by nuk

Great idea but needs some work
I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review.
I love the idea of this cup.
The straw is weighted and therefore moves easily within the cup so my child can drink from it at different angles. It doesn't work well if she tilts it upside down though. The cup isn't wide enough to allow the straw to move upside down. Unfortunately, she struggles to get liquid through the straw. I tried it myself, and had to suck really hard to get anything. This is great for making it spill/leak proof. But my 16 month old child gets frustrated and just throws it.
The cup is really easy to assemble and clean. I have no worries of mold growing in hidden places. It's also nice that you can twist the lid to hide the straw. I feel like that protects the straw from germs when out and about. It seems to be completely leak proof. My daughter plays with the straw on her cups and wasn't able to get water to leak from this cup.
Overall, it's a nice cup. Lots of pros. I just wish it was a little bit easier for her to drink from. Also, it would be helpful if it came with a mini straw cleaner, since this straw is smaller than average straws.

No leaks
My children have tried a lot of different straw cups and the Nuk Everlasting Straw Cup is one of the best we’ve used! Not only is it functional but good looking too. The weighted straw made it easy for my 11 month old son to drink at any angle, even laying down. We brought the cup with us everywhere, to the playground, in the car, even the amusement park and, aside from a few drops from the tip of the straw, it never leaked. I was worried it would be tricky for my son to hold with no handles but he had no problem. All components of the cup are easy to clean, especially the straw, which comes apart in the middle. The top of the cup twists to hide away the straw making it really convenient for packing and storing. Overall, the Nuk Everlasting Straw Cup has quickly become a favorite in our family and I’ll likely be buying several more. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this feeding accessory.

Worth the value but not perfect
The cup itself looks great- we got a plain blue and it didn’t have any decals or images on it which makes it so much easier to keep track of the amount of liquid left in it. The cup withstands falls wonderfully without spilling or leaking-it was thrown off the big slide at a playground and survived! It’s light enough for toddler hands but feels like it’s sturdy. The weighted straw is excellent, and easy to use; however, the bottom weight/end of the straw has a wide base and if the cup is flipped upside down and shaken, it will catch and then the cup lid has to be loosened to allow it to fall back to the bottom. I love the fact that the lid turns to cover the straw and isn’t a flip top. We hate flip tops since it seems to take more work and my toddler seems to find it easier to turn the top of this cup to access the straw! Unlike other cup, I feel like the pieces are easy to clean and not a pain to put it back together.
Overall the cup is excellent and well worth it, I just wish the weight piece at the end of the straw was a little smaller to avoid it being caught in the top when flipped upside down. The cup doesn’t leak if it’s dropped, or turned, but if it’s held upside down and shaken a few drops will come out. Not enough to be a big deal but worth mentioning. I was given this cup for free to test it from Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Love it
This cup has been our new favorite! It’s so durable, doesn’t leak whatsoever and love the look! My toddler who is 2 and a half, and my 9 month old both use this cup. My favorite part of this cup is being leak proof. It’s so easy for my toddler to turn to close the straw. Easy to clean, the parts all go back nicely together. Highly recommend this weighted straw cup! We received this cup for our honest review from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
