Description
Mealtime can be messy with babies who are just starting to feed themselves. The NUK® First Choice Suction Plates and Lids are designed to prevent accidental tipping and minimize the temptation to toss plates onto the floor. The strong suction base sticks to most flat surfaces, and the quick-release tab makes removal easy for parents. Three uniquely sized, deep divided sections have high walls with curves that help baby get more food onto their spoon as they scoop against the sides. NUK suction plates also come with a leak-proof lid, great for travel and for post-mealtime storage in the refrigerator. Super easy to clean plate
The NUK Suction Plate and Lid has quickly become the favorite plate in our home.
It has three well-sized portions with sloped walls, so it's easy for my taby (toddler baby) to pick up food herself with her spoon and fork. Also, the sloped walls mean that it's easy to clean and there are no 90deg crevices that hold onto gunk.
The suction works as well as other plates. But my taby hulk can somehow still get it unstuck and thrown to the ground.
The lid is a great plus because I can prep lunch in the morning and put it in the fridge.

Great design and ok suction
I loved the look and feel of this plate. It’s a good size and the lid is GENIUS. The suction was just ok. Babies are good at outsmarting these things. Would recommend. I received this for free as a part of a Stellar Product Testing Panel. This is not a paid review.

Nuk Suction Plate
We loved the Nuk suction plate and lid. We use it for our 10 month old daughter and it actually stays attached to the table/her high chair. It has dividers to help with food portioning. I love that it includes a lid to make easy storage for any uneaten food until the next meal time. We received this product as part of the Stellar Testing Panel.

Perfect for baby led weaning
I was given this feeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I loved this suction plate and lid for many reasons. First off, I have other suction feeding accessories and they do not stick to my high chair tray. This one, however, works very well, yet easily breaks suction by lifting the corner tab. As a busy mom of three kids, I especially appreciate that it is microwave and dishwasher safe. The lid is an added bonus. My 9 month old has severe food allergies, so it is nice to pack him a small meal and cover with lid whenever we go out to eat. That way I know we don’t have any potential exposure to allergens. Lastly, the depth of this plate is just right for little fingers to easily scoop the food out against the rim. Perfect for baby led weaning!

Great plate
This suction plate is fantastic! It’s sticks so we’ll to my dining room table, my son isn’t able to lift it like he has with other similar types of plates. It’s extremely durable and I love that it can be placed in the microwave or the dishwasher. It holds a decent amount of food, I’m not sure if they sell them in a variety of sizes but I would love to upgrade to one slightly bigger over time. The lid is also a huge convenience because I can easily pop the leftovers in the fridge without having to put them in a separate container. I also can take this on the go which is great for bringing to restaurants and other places that don’t have child friendly dinnerware. Toddler approved
We loved that it easily sticks to pur daughters high chair or our counter and doesn’t slip. One of the compartments is a little small, but overall great plate. I also really like the lid - when we use it at a restaurant the lid covers all the mess so there’s no concern we’ll get other items in her diaper bag messy. Great plate for kids
We love this plate! The three separate areas are great for my picky daughter that doesn’t like her food touching. The suction is great and the tab makes it easy to lift up. We’ve tried other suction plates in the past and they still slide around, but this one stays put. The lid is sheer genius and probably my favorite part. It makes it so easy and convenient to pop in the fridge or save leftovers for later. I’d absolutely recommend this plate. Great plate
I received this plate as a tester in the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This is such a fun plate for my 9m old. She tries to pul it off the table but it doesn’t budge. But when I need to clean up, it’s an easy task. I do wish the plate was a little bigger? My kiddo is still learning to pinch with her fingers so we do make a little mess, but I’m sure in a few weeks this won’t be an issue anymore. I love the top so I can pack up lunch on the go. Ready for the restaurants or grandmas house.

Love this plate
Love this plate set! Comes with a top to store your baby’s unused food for later. Don’t have to transfer into a container and can leave it right on the plate. How convenient! Mess free because of the suction! Perfect for the dishwasher and the microwave. Doesn’t get much bette than that. Also cokes in an awesome recyclable package which is so appreciated. Very grateful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for this product!

No more on the go leaks
The NUK for nature suction plate is great for on the go and is absolutely leak free! I sealed and tossed right in the baby’s diaper bag for a day of errands and a visit to the park, and ta da, no leaks at all when we went to give the baby her lunch. A few features to note:
- The fact that it’s dishwasher and microwave safe is a win for busy parents and caregivers. I send this over to grandma’s house when she is watching the baby and I am confident it will keep lunch organized and be leak free
- My favorite feature is the lid option - most other products do not have a lid, and those that do typically sit on too and don’t seal tight. This product does it all
- The packaging is recyclable, which as a mom, you have an increased awareness for the need to protect and sustain the environment for your children
- The suction worked really well on countertops and restaurant tables, but the baby was able to pull the suction off on her high chair, so we will keep this for tabletop use instead of her high chair
Overall, I would recommend this product for its versatility, it is an on the go must have!

Nice lightweight plate with lid
The Nuk suction plate with lid is a great addition to our toddler feeding accessories. I appreciated that the plate was small enough to fit onto our Stokke Trip Trapp high chair tray, since so many of the other popular suction plates do not. It has 3 separate compartments - 1 large and 2 small to separate out foods for picky toddlers who don’t want their foods to touch. The plate is also extremely lightweight and includes a lid, which would make it perfect to take along for travel (although the lid does not appear to be leakproof so would stick to dry foods for transport). The suction was not the strongest but it did maintain its suction for longer than some other plates we have and my 15 month old did not lift or flip the plate while eating, which lets face it, aside from getting them to eat at all,is a huge win!

NUK suction plate with lid
I was given this feeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My son just turned a year old and we are always on the hunt for suction plates. This NUK plate is nice and deep and has a cover for portability. I really love the cover because you can pack a lunch and let them eat it outside in a park or on the go. That was definitely my favorite feature. The grey is a perfect neutral color and the plate is smooth textured. The texture is nice in that it helps baby with the pincer grasp and picking up the food. It’s not that shiny cheap material where things slide all over the plate. The plate and cover is easy to wash. The suction works if the child doesn’t move the plate too much while eating. My wild guy does like to move things around a lot, so the suction was sometimes not that great for him.

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
My baby had no problem eating from this plate.
Pros: very lightweight, has a travel lid (which I haven’t used yet but I could see it coming in handy), baby can easily grab food since it’s not too deep, dishwasher safe.
Cons: was easily stained with spaghetti sauce, suction didn’t work as well as I had hoped.

Suction plate that comes with lid
We enjoy using this plate on our dining table. It definitely sticks better to a granite countertop or a dining table than to my son's highchair top. We have the high chair that you can pull up to the table so we use it often. However, if we slide the high chair tray. On it doesn't stick to that surface. I'm not sure why it doest stick very well to plastic. I like that it has a lid where I can pack food to go easier. The 3 sections makes it easy to have hot or cold items on the plate without it touching each other. Overall great plate and I like the neutral gray color as well.

Best Suction Plate Out of Them All
I had looked at other suction plates, but never knew which one to go with. Then, I was fortunate enough to be able to use this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and now have bought 2 more! Awesome colors aside, this suction plate actually suctions and is a game changer with preventing spills! For me, the best features are the divided sections with high walls and the lid, which make it great for my baby to practice self-feeding and feeding on-the-go. It is BPA-free and latex-free and easy to microwave and wash or stick on the top rack of the dishwasher. This plate will be used for years to come!

Great plate for traveling families
There are some definite pros about this great plate and lid combo. First of all, we travel a lot as a family and are always on-the-go with our 3 kids. We do a lot of lake and beach days, so I love using this feeding accessory for my little one because of the great lid feature! I am able pack my little one’s lunch or snack in this, snap the lid in place and slide it sideways into our cooler or beach bag without making a mess. The lid stays in place securely. It is also thin enough to easily pack away. I love the smooth feel and sleek look of the plate. It is also great to have a dividing plate that is easy to travel with so that every component of the meal is consolidated into one feeding accessory, which means less hassle and easier clean up! It washes really well and is dishwasher safe, which is a must in our busy family! The suction feature of this plate was disappointing for me as it didn’t seem to consistently work well. It would temporarily stick on a plastic highchair tray or ceramic table, but not long enough to be effective. My little one is pretty strong! It suctioned best to our countertop, but this obviously limits its versatility. My favorite feature is definitely the secure lid that makes it so easy to take anywhere without worrying about spilling and making a mess. My kids love this plate
My kids were so excited when I pulled out this plate! It has good size sections for food, it’s lightweight, it suctions well to the table, and best of all, I love the lid! The kids is genius and earns an A+ by itself! It’s great for us because my kids like to eat a little and comeback to their plate later. We love it! Pack a snack
This Nuk suction plate lost its suction ability after 2 times through the dishwasher. It says top rack dishwasher safe but had I known that would happen it would of been very easy to hand wash. Still very usable just as a plate at home. It is in the small shallow side with the lid on so if I’m packing it to go then I’m only packing a snack. I do really like that the lid fits so tight and my 2 yo can easily use this sturdy snack container in her car seat. I received this product as part of the stellar product testing panel.

Great storage and easy to travel with
This plate was given to me to review by the Stellar Review panel. This plate/container was great for sending to the babysitter and traveling with! The 3 individual compartments on the plate made it very convenient to pack a meal for my 16 month old on the go. The lid stays on great and keeps the food separate in its compartments. The only thing I would change about this product is the suction. My little guy was able to pull the plate off and move it around. If there is the slightest bump or unevenness the bowl does not stick. So on tables or older highchair trays with scratched or bumps, the bowl did not suction fully to the dish. The gray color was great! We would order this again for sure!

Practical to go plate
I was given this feeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This plate has all the functionality you need with a toddler with unpredictable eating patterns. The different compartments allow you to separate different foods, the soft plastic doesn’t destroy anything or get destroyed when thrown, and the ability to just put a lid on the plate if you want to transport it or put it in the fridge makes all the difference. Highly recommended!

Great baby to toddler plate
I was given this feeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love the look and aesthetic of this plate and lid. I like the idea of a lid compared to other popular brands that we also have had in the past. My baby took to it right away and enjoyed digging through the three sections. It cleaned well and easily and is thin enough to store without a problem. A major thing I fight with is things sticking to the high chair tray, my baby was able to unstick it with ease. It worked better on our table, than a high chair. But still a great product that we will continue to use in our every day life! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this feeding accessory.

Prevent food spills
I received this product from the stellar panel product review. Let me start by saying it is fantastic! My 5 year old son loves to eat at a the counter height kitchen islands and always accidentally dropping his plate and making messes everywhere- this solves that problem! The suction works great, he is able to Suction it on the counter and take it off without too much hassle. Loved the fact that it has a lid (to put back in fridge for leftovers or pack for his lunch). Also love that it is easy to clean and dishwasher safe!

As good as any plate suction did not impress
I received the gray NUK suction plate as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The plate was a nice color and easy to wash however the suction did not work on my 11 month old's high chair tray and she ended up swatting the plate on the floor. For us, it is easier to just put the food directly on the tray. My four year old has taken over use of the plate and it works well for him which is just as good as a regular plastic plate. All in all, we will use the plate, but wouldn't buy another.

Perfect toddler plate
I was given this feeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love that this plate is a nice muted color - ours is a pretty blue. The plate is a good size and the lip is helpful for keeping the food on my toddler’s plate. My favorite thing about this plate is that it really sticks to the table and isn’t easily pulled off.
We’ve tried so many suction plates (I like silicon plates but they peel right off) and this one has been great. The suction is under the plate in a way that makes it difficult for my daughter to unlatch from the table. This cutie plate has quickly become our favorite!

So Convenient
This plate is a new favorite product! My 8 month old just decided he wants to eat a minimum of three meals a day, and with four older siblings we're on the go a lot. I love the compact size of this plate, and the snap-on lid: fill it up, seal it, toss in a bag or cooler, and off we go.
I really like the neutral color (mine is gray) and matte finish, too. It blends well with any decor and doesn't look out of place at a more "adult" table or nice restaurant.
The suction bottom is innovative and I love the idea. In practice it doesn't stick quite as well as I'd hoped, so I took off one star for that reason, but it's still a helpful feature when it works. (It does stick better to a damp surface so wiping the table first is a good idea.) Overall I'd definitely recommend it.

Suctions well on some surfaces
As the parent to three kids who love dumping the contents of their dishes on the floor, I’ve tried many a suction plate. The Nuk suction plate and lid that u received to test through the Stellar Product Testing Panel seemed at first blush to be a strong solution to our problems.
The plate is solid and attractive, with nice high walls between the separate compartments. It stuck well to our kitchen counters as I prepared dinner. Unfortunately, the suction did not work at all on our plastic high chair, so food was in my toddler’s lap within a moment of the plate being set down.
If you have a child who eats at a quartz countertop, this is the plate for you. I imagine the lid is really helpful if there are leftovers that don’t end up on the floor or on a baby. If your child eats at a plastic tray, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

NUK Suction Plate
I received this plate from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. This plate is the perfect size for my 15 month old. It fit wonderfully on his highchair tray, it's easy to clean, and the lid fits great. I love that it's made in the USA. All that said, I found the suction to be lacking. No matter what surface I put it on my son could pull it up. It's a good plate, but I can't trust the suction with my tough little guy.

Sturdy Suction Plate
I received the NUK Suction Plate through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love the compartments in the plate. I felt they were a good size. The plate is also sturdy and easy for my 1 year old to eat off of! The suction was decent. There was one meal that the suction broke during the meal and my son was able to lift the plate off his tray, but it could also be user error! We used it again and the suction stayed. The lid is also nice to have on days where my son does not eat all his dinner and we can cover it and put it in the fridge! Overall, I liked the NUK plate and will definitely continue to use it!
