Description
Mealtime can be messy with babies who are just starting to feed themselves. The NUK® First Choice Suction Plates and Lids are designed to prevent accidental tipping and minimize the temptation to toss plates onto the floor. The strong suction base sticks to most flat surfaces, and the quick-release tab makes removal easy for parents. Three uniquely sized, deep divided sections have high walls with curves that help baby get more food onto their spoon as they scoop against the sides. NUK suction plates also come with a leak-proof lid, great for travel and for post-mealtime storage in the refrigerator. The lid makes it a go to
The Nuk plate was a winner. The lid wasn’t quite diaper bag tight, so I rubber banded it, but it gave me time to get my little guy’s bib on before he dove into dinner. Fit great in the fridge and really appreciate that it was microwave and dishwasher safe to save me getting a second dish dirty for heating things up! The little one managed to unstick it from his high chair table, but not until dinner was nearly over, so appreciated the extra time to eat my own food and being able to test this product through Stellar Product Testing Panel!

Meals Made Easier
I have twin 10 month olds that LOVE pulling things off their high chair trays and throwing things to the floor. I have been trying to find a plate or something to put food in besides just setting it on their trays. Huge thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this feeding accessory. It has made meal time easier and way less messy! The plate is the perfect size for baby meals and will grow into toddler years making meal time more enjoyable. If you pull really hard, the plate will come off the tray, but if it's bumped it will stay put! I love that it's dishwasher safe and microwave safe so I don't have extra time washing or getting more dishes dirty to reheat food. The cover snaps on tight and you can see through it to know what or how much is inside. The only con I have found is it is a little thicker than normal plates, so takes up more space in a cabinet. A lot of kids things seem bulky though, so not a deal breaker. The plate is a great color and made of a thick, quality feel and looking plastic. I haven't found anything that sticks to a high chair tray any better than this, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting less messes!

Suction Plate
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the Nuk suction plate. I found this plate to work pretty well to feed my son. I like that the walls are not very high and that it has dividers for different foods. It makes it easier for my son to use. It suctions well to the high chair and the material seems durable. My only hesitation with this plate is that I could see the bottom of it being difficult to clean if it somehow got dirty, but so far I have not had any issues. My favorite part about this plate is that it has a lid to make it easy to store leftovers. I see us using this a lot in the future as my son eats more and more solid foods.

Sticks like spiderman
This Nuk plate is pretty darn good. It sticks to any flat surface. I tried it on my wood cabinets just to see if it would stick to a surface with wood grain, and it does. My kiddo was able to eat from it well, and without pulling it off the table. It's a nice sleek design and the lid was great for storing left overs without spillage (no leakage with chili or spaghetti sauce when I shook it and held it on its side). My only complaint is the chili and spaghetti stained the plate and lid that wonderful orange color all plastic seems to pick up when exposed to tomato. Otherwise, I really loved this plate (and it being dishwasher safe).

Best suction plate available
Over the years, we've tried many different suction plates and bowls and all of them have failed miserably. That is until we came across this plate by Nuk. We have a 15 month old who loves to throw any and everything on the floor and obviously that includes food. This plate prevents him from tossing the whole plate of food on the floor, and makes him feel like a big kid! I love that it includes a plate cover so if he doesn't finish his meal we can just store it in the fridge for another time. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel and Nuk for allowing us to try out this new edition to our kiddos meal time.

Great size for travel
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this feeding accessory. I received the nuk plate right before a road trip. It’s the perfect size for the diaper bag. We’ve been able to use it at restaurants and then put the lid on after with out making a mess in the diaper bag. Unfortunately the suction part hasn’t worked for us on the tables or high chairs we’ve used it on.
I like the angled sides the most as it makes for easy access to the bite size pieces for my kiddos little fingers. I’m really hoping to find a surface that it will stick to!

Great plate for the kiddos
I received this feeding accessory from the Stellar Product Testing Panel but am not a first time NUK user. And just like the rest of their products that I’ve tried, the NUK Suction Plate and Lid is great! I primarily used it for my 2.5 year old who has a habit of walking away from the table with her plate. But with the suction she was not getting far with this one! We also used it outside for a picnic and the lid made it easy to transport our lunch outside. Between the awesome suction and the lid I’m ready to add more to my collection of kid plates.
What’s really funny too is that the color of the plate SPOT ON matches my ceramic dinner plates. I've found that kids feeding gear is usually BRIGHT, which is fun and nice and generally I don't mind. But it's great to have a muted option and I like that when I have company over now the plate matches the rest of my set.
You won't be sorry with the NUK Suction Plate and Lid!

Loved the concept but did not stick
I have three kids and have always wanted one of the suction plates or bowls that actually works. I tried this on my baby’s plastic high chair tray and on our granite countertop and it did not stick. Very disappointed! I thought the compartments and kid were nice and the lid would be great for meal prepping for the babysitter if you don’t need the suction to work.

Great feeding plate for home and travel
We tried this NUK suction plate and lid both at home and eating out. It had great suction (needs to be on a smooth surface) and prevented my kiddo from sliding/throwing/dropping from her high chair or seat. The plate is made from plastic and silicone and was easy to wash and small enough to pack in the diaper bag. I liked the lid - handy in meal planning and also to cover the messy plate when we were using it at a restaurant. My kiddo had no issues using the plate and even liked to stick it on other things in the house (when it was clean of course!) we will be testing it out on a picnic next! I was given this feeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Nuk Suction Plate with lid
I was excited to test out this product because I’d been looking for a plate that could suction on to my son’s high chair and that would actually stick, and because the lid seemed very useful.
Some of things I like are the sections to keep things separate when my toddler doesn’t want his food to mix, the plate is sturdy, and easy to clean. I really appreciate the lid for leftovers that go back into the fridge- so much easier to use the lid over cling wrap or tin foil! The lid is my favorite feature of this plate.
I am disappointed in the suction feature because it did not stick to my son’s high chair. I think the issue is with my high chair rather than plate as the the tray is textured and doesn’t hold suction. I’ve had the same issue with other brand suction plates but was hoping this would be different. The suction feature did work well on other smooth surfaces, so as long as you don’t have a textured tray you shouldn’t have an issue.
Overall I’m happy with the plate (especially the lid feature) and wanted to say thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this feeding accessory.

Love it my kid is just a genius
I love the portion size, the look of it and that it has a lid! My 17 month old somehow knows how to unsuction it. She did it from day 1. We still use it every night at dinner because it's fantastic otherwise! We received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel!

This plate really sticks
I received this plate through the Stellar Product Testing program to review. I love this plate because it sticks well — and my little guy loves to pull up every plate. It even sticks to the table mat I put down!
The plate is deep enough to act as a shallow bowl but also plate.
Only complaint — it’s a weird shape and doesn’t fit in my dishwasher!!!

Nice design but did not work for us
I was given this feeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was super excited to try it, as I've bought suction plates before that didn't stay suctioned, and I liked the design of this one. Our toddler is currently learning to use utensils on her own and thought this would make it easier, and it did, at first, but it wasn't long before she grabbed the plate and tore it right off her tray. Does my baby just have superhuman strength? Do all babies do this? I'd recommend trying it if your babe doesn't try to throw everything. I was really hoping this plate would stay put but no such luck. I suppose I will try again as she gets older.

NUK Suction Plate and Lid
Feeding time with a toddler is always my most dreaded time of the day. It’s messy and chaotic but this suction plate helped to assure my child didn’t throw his whole plate of food on the floor. I was given this feeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love that it came with a lid so that if my child doesn’t eat all of his food I can simply place the lid on the plate and save it for later. The look of the plate is very modern and easy to wash. The suction stuck very well to our table and okay to the high chair tray. I would recommend using it on a table rather than a high chair. The plate has three distinct sections so if your child doesn’t like for their food to touch it will not! This was a great plate for my toddler.

Great at home and on the go
I received this plate as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
I love the color and material of the plate. It’s lightweight and easily packable. The lid snaps easily on and has a tab for easy removal. I also appreciate that the lid is slightly transparent so you can see what’s in it even when it’s closed. The suction part is a ring around the bottom. Does the job! I like this at restaurants because my kiddo likes to try and push the breakable plates they offer onto the floor. It fits nicely on his high chair too. The three compartments are good sizes, I put some of our favorite snacks in it just for a size/capacity reference. My five-year old likes it too, so it will last a while.

Great plate for self feeding
I was given this feeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love the shape and texture of this plate. It fits on our high chair tray perfectly and my 10 month old can scoop food against the hard sides by himself. I also love that it comes with a lid so you can throw it on and put the whole plate in the fridge if you need to. I gave it four stars because when the suction sticks, it really sticks, but I had a hard time getting it just right to stick. Even without perfect suction, I do like this plate a lot and so does my baby! We use it often.

Great size but did not stick on all surfaces
I received the Nuk suction plate and lid through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My first impression was that it was good quality, the plate is plastic but it doesn't feel cheap, and it was a really great size. My daughter is a 10 month old that is just starting to experiment with solids and self feeding so we definitely need a plate or bowl that will stick. The first time I used the plate it did not stick very well to our high chair tray, I assumed it was because the plate was still wet so I dried it off and then tried to stick it again. The plate slide around as soon as my daughter grabbed it and then lifted from the tray. I think the plate and the chair were not compatible, as much as I tried, I could not get the plate to stay.
I then tried to stick the plate on our dining table and that worked a lot better. This time I made sure to try the plate myself before I actually put food on the plate and gave it to my daughter. The suction was sturdy, it did slide on the table when I pushed but it was not easy for me to pick it up so I let my daughter give it a try. Lunch time was a lot better eating on the dining table. I was able to put the plate close to the edge of the table which prevented some mess. I did not have much use for the lid currently but I can see it being useful soon. The lid is very slim and it clicks to the plate very nicely.

Sturdy and works good for a toddler

Overall, I liked the plate. It is a very sturdy plate that does suction decently. Because the it suctions it makes it easier for kids to eat as the plate will not move on them. I love that it has a cover so you can easily put leftovers away.
The only negative I would have is that I don’t think the suction will last long. My toddler was able to push the plate enough move it. It took a little effort but he did move it.

Great plate with convenient lid for less spills
Love that this plate has a snap on lid! Good portion size segments for baby’s meals. I did try to use the suction on the silicone placement on baby’s high chair and she had thrown the plate on the floor before I realized that does not work! Sticks much better to the high chair tray’s plastic surface. I did receive this item in collaboration with Stellar reviews, but I plan to buy more to use when we are eating more meals on the go and need the convenience of a lid like this!

Perfect travel plate
Thanks to the Stellar Review Panel for letting me try the Nuk Suction Plate and Lid. This is a great little plate that is perfect for travel. Being that it's pretty compact, has a suction at the bottom and has a lid makes it perfect to bring along on vacation or to a restaurant. The suction is pretty strong on a wooden table, high chair tray and counter top, but unfortunately my toddler was still able to figure out how to get it loose. A younger baby would have a harder time breaking the suction on a flat surface. It does have an impressive suction compared to other suction plates I have tried, though. It is very easy to clean and so light weight to just put in a diaper bag. The lid makes it very unique and practical for uses beyond just meal time. I will definitely be traveling with my Nuk Suction Plate and Lid.

First of all, I was given this feeding accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I liked the color. I liked that it can go in the dishwasher and microwave. I love that it has a lid. This plate does stick better than the other section bowls I have tried. A lot better. However, my baby was still able to pull it off the tray. I was happy that it fit on her tray. I think plates at this age (12 months) are still just unnecessary. I just put food on her tray. When she's older she will learn to use one.

I feel that every parent needs these suction plates! They are truly a life saver! Nothing is worse than having you’re child throw a plate full of food all on the floor. This plate fixes just that! The plate suctions itself very well to all of our kitchens surfaces and I noticed zero sliding around whatsoever. It’s especially great for a little one who is getting used to learning how to use kitchen utensils so it makes stabbing with a fork and scooping with a spoon easier.

Perfect suction plate with a lid
This is seriously the plate that does it all. It suctions. It has a lid for travel or storage in the fridge. It can go in the microwave and dishwasher. It’s the only plate I could find that actually covers all the bases. The suction is really great and even works on my high chair tray which is notoriously horrible for suction plates.

Stuck to typical baby products not wood table
I enjoyed the Nuk suction plate and lid. The lid was an interesting concept, and I ended up using it once when we had dinner out. It’s definitely not an everyday use for me.
The suction is typical of a baby plate - better than okay but can’t outmatch the strength of a hungry angry small human. It stuck to the high chair and the little table we have, but did not stick to our wooden kitchen table. The sides were slightly too high for my 15 month old to fully scoop out.
Overall, I’d purchase this as a gift from a baby registry, but wouldn’t purchase a second one for myself

NUK Suction Plate
I received the NUK section plate as a part of a free product testing panel. However, I do want to start off by saying this plate far exceeded my expectations. It stuck to my child's high chair better than any of the other suction plates that I can try. Usually the lose suction pretty quickly but I was so shocked at how well this one stayed on! But, my favorite feature was the snap on lid. Kids don't always eat everything (LOL) so I loved just being able to snap the lid on and throw it in the fridge for a snack later and not having to transfer to another container and throw away. I wasn't a fan of the color, because it came in grey, but it wouldn't deter me from buying another and then I could get whatever color I wanted. Overall, super satisfied and will definitely be buying more!

Best suction plate
I received this for my review from stellar product testing panel. I love this suction plate so much. We had purchased a different plate that was supposed to suction and my daughter instantly outsmarted it- this plate actually works! It suctions so well- she can still throw her food but at least she can’t dump the plate! I love the divisions and it’s so easy to clean. The lid is a lovely bonus. It allows us to easily save untouched dinners or transport food. I have already bought more of these!

Works Great
My 19 month old son loves to eat. Like most toddlers, he’s pretty messy and has even started going through a phase where he lifts his plate off the table, and dumps it. This is super frustrating, but with the NUK Suction Plate he’s been less successful in this endeavor! The suction has worked most of the time, but my son has been able to slide his new plate across to the edge (The Stinker!). Still, keeping his food organized in small sections seems to keep him more focused on eating, instead of making a mess! The lid snaps on and off easily, and has been a nice addition. Since it’s summer, we sometimes like to eat outside in our backyard, or at the park and the lid makes the plate easy to travel with! It can even go in the dishwasher, making clean up a breeze. I definitely think I’ll be getting a few more since it’s now our go to plate. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this feeding accessory.

I originally bought these because they were suction plates. My son likes to tip his bowls and plates upside down. I likes how they had the divider so I thought we would see how they worked. We went to use them and put them on his tray, the first thing he did was pull it up. I feel like the description of being a "strong" suction is a little wrong. Sadly we returned these and are going to try something else.

Sunction doesn’t work well but why only one lid???
Disappointed that the suction doesn’t work well but it’s ok. But I’m frustrated why there’s only one lid!!! I had to buy a second set to have two lids and somehow I lost one, so now I have 4 plates and one lid. And might have to buy another set for just a lid. Or look at a different brand

Not impressed
Bought this set a few months ago, washed by hand, and neither one will stick to the high chair tray. I have 2 high chairs: a Graco 6-1 blossom and ingenuity smartclean 3-1. Doesn’t work with either one. I don’t know if we got a bad set, but it’s basically just taking up space in my drawer.
