Great concept but there are some flaws
I received this cup for free in exchange for my review of the product.
My 19 month old child easily took to drinking from this cup. The straw was fairly easy for him to drink from. He has experience drinking from other straw cups though so he had an idea of what to do. The weighted straw made it easy for him to drink from the cup at any angle which is something that he struggles with other cups that have stiff straws. The handles also allowed him to hold the cup easily which was great. The overall quality of the cup is very nice too.
The flaws of the cup: washing - while there are only 4 parts (cup, sipping area, straw, and handles) the straw is difficult to clean and it doesn’t come with its own straw cleaner so I used the standard straw cleaners. The standard straw cleaners are hard to put through the straw and the straw stretches making it difficult to avoid stretching and potentially damaging the straw. My biggest issue with the cup is that the cup is spill proof but it is not leak proof. When my child drinks from the cup some of the juice remains in the upper part of the straw past the stopper that prevents spills. So when my son drops the cup there is going to be some juice that falls out of the cup when this happens so be aware where your child is using this cup if the juice is in a area that stains easily (aka carpeted rooms).
My biggest issue was the leaking which lead me to take off a star from the review. Secondly the washing is a bit of a struggle and you don’t want to spend a ton of time on just one cup so minus one star. I would have rated 3.5 for the washing but only allowed whole stars. Definitely a good cup but I really wish the leaking issue was better.

Pretty good
I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My son is 19months old and his favorite types of cups are definitely straw cups. I love the soft straw spout, it eases my mind knowing he’s less likely to hurt himself with the straw. I also love the size. It holds 10oz, is not too wide for small hands, and the handles are removable. My only complaint is that it is not completely spillproof but for beginners that is perfect since the valve isn’t too strong it makes it easier for them to learn to use a straw in general. Overall though a great beginners cup

Nuk Learner Straw
I received the Nuk straw sippy cup in blue through Stellar Reviews! My 13 month old love the cup! The handles made it easy for her to hold. Along with the flexible straw on the inside allowed her to get a drink no matter how she was holding the cup! The cup never leaked, which is another great quality of this cup. We love this cup and will definitely be purchasing more!

Perfect throw proof cup
My son loves to let us know he is finished with things by throwing them, that being a toy, mommies coffee cup, or his own bottle. He likes to chew on the end of the bottles for comfort, nasty habit I know, and has a habit of turning over straw cups to mimic bottles. We received the Nuk training cup as a part of a stellar panel to test, and were intrigued as we use the bottles already. I was looking for something spill proof, sturdy, and easy to help with straws. With all of these points, it did an amazing job. The straw being attached to the lid kept it from spilling, and the straw is thicker to avoid him chewing through it, but also not too thick you can’t clean it. My son is almost 2, and had no trouble drinking from the cup or holding from both handles. It is a great size and overall, a great cup!! Now if he could just stop losing them in the store…

The PERFECT Sippy Cup
I wish I knew about this sippy cup sooner. It is the perfect size, the handles help support independent sipping, and most importantly, it doesn’t spill! I’ve tried so many sippy and transition cups with my two babies and this is by far the winner. I received this sippy cup in the mail a few weeks ago through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My baby immediately knew how to use it without any issues and wouldn’t let it go. The cup checks off all the important criteria on my list: no spills even when held upside down, simple design, and easy to wash. Now, just need to order a few more!

Great transition cup
Received as part of Stellar Panel Testing, and glad I got to try it out! Overall a good transition cup! The straw inside bends some so it helps if they are tilting, but not so much that they can drink it upside down! Which isn’t what you want anyways if they’re transitioning. My little one loved the shape and had no issues holding/using it.

Nuk Straw cup
Received this item from stellar panel reviews and so glad I did!! This cup is wonderful! Previously we’d been using the Nuk sippy cups and also have experience with the Nuk Bottles - big fans of both and easy for our little ones to hold and carry around with them. However, we were ready to transition to a straw cup she was struggling with them as they’d be thrown & spill. Enter the Nuk straw cup and we were sold! Does not spill unless there is milk in the top section of the straw and even then; it’s a slow drip out. At first I thought it was difficult to clean but realized how easily it came apart to clean. My own recommendation would be to include one of those straw cleaners in the packaging. Would 10/10 buy again!!

A great straw cup without hassle
I was given this training cup to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Being a father of 15 month old twins, I've tried a lot of different cups as we've made the move from bottles. These Nuk cups are towards the top, if not the best cup that my twins have tried.
Here are my pros:
1. The silicone is soft and resilient. It's gone through the dishwasher many times and doesn't seem to pick up the soapy taste that other silicone items pick up in the dishwasher.
2. The air vent hasn't gotten stuck. The twins will get mad and spike their cup at the ground if they can't get anything out of it. That hasn't been an issue with this cup.
3. The cup is durable. It has gotten tossed off the high chair to the hardwood floor, and it doesn't even have a mark. It also hasn't leaked when hitting the floor.
4. Most importantly, the twins like this cup. They will both grab it and chug water. That's something we can all appreciate.
My one con for this cup, and the reason for only a 4 star review, is that sometimes when the kids are throwing it around, the straw inside will end up bent in half. It gets caught on the side of the cup and then no liquid will flow. This requires adult assistance to fix the straw, which does get annoying at times.
Overall though, it's a great cup and I would definitely buy more for my twins.

Little one loves it
I received this by being a part of the Stellar Produce testing panel. This straw cup is great for a first time straw cup user. The weighted bottom of the straw keeps it down so babies can drink with ease. The straw is rubber so it is not hard on the baby’s mouth. My child loved using the handles to grasp the cup. She used it easily being able to suck the water through the straw. It was also very easy to clean and disassemble and reassemble. Highly recommend!

Loved the Nuk Learner straw
We absolutely loved the Nuk learner straw and the Nuk bottle. I received the product from Stellar product testing panel and was excited to try it. We’ve tested pretty much every learner bottle on the market and we were excited to see if it makes the cut. My little one found the bottle easy to use and would constantly reach for this cup. The straw was soft yet sturdy enough that he was not tempted to bite it like some of the flimsier straws. The quality of the cup is great but my favorite part was almost no leakage!! We’ve tried many cups that leak non stop but we would definitely recommend this one since it’s mom and baby approved!

Nuk Learner Straw Review
Overall we really like this cup. My 12 month old was able to easy grab the handles and the straw was a good diameter for him to fit easily in his mouth and successfully get his drink.
I think the straw had some great features. I loved how soft it was and also easy to drink from I like the weighted feature in the base it helped to move as he inevitably was active when drinking. It was nice and easy to clean as well. The straw could be slightly longer, that would help with not wasting. The reason I bring this up is because my son requires thickened liquids and often times it’s important for him to finish his drinks bc the thickener required. I also think it’s important to note that the diameter size of the straw worked really well with his thickened liquids and he seemed to be able to pace himself well with it.
The quality of the cup is superior but I must say the size is a bit tall. It may work well for travel but for use in a high chair it’s a bit too tall for comfort. In regards to travel I would have a hard time bringing it along bc there’s not a good way to close the cup when not in use, it would be better if the lid was attached. I have a feeling I’d be sanitizing the straw a lot while out and about.
My favorite quality of the cup was the silicone straw that was easy to grasp and keep in his mouth and the appropriately sized handles that worked very well with his tiny hands.

Fantastic Cup
We received this cup from Stellar Product Testing Panel in return for an honest review. My 20 month old loves this cup. He took to it quickly and gets excited when he sees us filling it up. The handles make it easy for him to hold and grab, and the straw is easier to use than other brands we’ve tried. We are having another baby soon, and we plan on purchasing more of these cups for her.

Its a Hit NUK learner straw
At first I was unable to train my son to drink from
It, he kept lifting it like he does with his sippy cup but then I learnt a trick. I filled it all the way up, so every time he would lift up the bottle he would still get water by sucking, and I would gradually bring the cup down, till the cup was upright and he was still drinking! I would hold the cup down while he was drinking so he understands that he doesn’t need to lift it up to get his drink out of it. Within a day he learnt the difference between his sippy cup and his straw cup! The best feature is how soft the straw is, I left out the bottle so he can drink from it whenever he likes without worrying that it might hurt his gums! After 3 days I gave him my plastic straw just to test and he was able to drink from it! This is a great product, I’m really thankful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this training cup.
Also, he loves playing with the straw! It’s perfect

Wonderful product
My little one love the nuk straw cup.
I’m impressed with the design and quality. Starting from the handles. You may say it’s just a handle. But that’s not the case. The handles is design with such a wonderful curve that makes the baby grasp look natural. It’s easy for him to hold and looks very comfortable.
My little one threw this cup around the house multiple times and it did not leak. It did not leak. It did not leak. This bottle design with mom in mind. I do not have to keep following after him to wipe up puddles. It super easy to clean.
I received this product as part of the product testing panel for my honest opinion.

Spill and Leak Proof
I received a NUK Learner Straw from Stellar Product Testing Panel during my daughter’s bottle weaning stage and we are loving it so far! The best feature of this product is the silicone straw. She has been teething badly and chewed out all the straws in her cups but this one stays indestructible. I also like that you can see through the bottle and it has a huge capacity to hold my baby’s drinks which can actually last her all day. This is also 100% spill proof because the bottle design allows it to stay still, not too over easily and the top where you refill the liquids doesn’t leak plus the cap is airtight once it clicks on the bottle. It doesn’t take no time for my baby to figure out how to use this straw cup, she instantly knew how to hold and sip from it. I definitely recommend to other parents this awesome product!

Awesome Cup
I was given this training cup to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and we loved it! The cup is very easy to assemble and clean. I love how soft and durable the silicone has been on my son’s mouth; this has been a concern of mine since going from bottles to straw cups because you either find cups with hard mouthpieces or straws that are easily chewed through when your little one is teething. The Nuk learner cup has no signs of wear and tear yet, despite tons of use and many washes, and feels like great quality. The cup is also aesthetically pleasing, and one of my favorite features are the handles to help my son easily handle it while drinking.

Nuk Learner Straw Cup
By far the best cup for my son I have ever used! The Nuk Learner straw cup is the perfect size for my growing toddler, especially the easy to hold handles and the cup itself since the handle is removable and can still function without it! The soft straw and no spill was amazing to see in action, my 1 year old tested it's spill proof by turning the cup upside-down and pressing it into his plate LOL, and yes this Nuk cup passed with flying colors! Not one drop spilled, that was by far the best feature. I believe he really loves the softness of the straw and those little teeth did not damage it! This cup is an all around win for us both, excited to have tried this through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Nuk Learner Straw
I received this cup from Stellar Product Testing Panel! It is the perfect cup to transition my 11 month old from normal sippy cups. One downside is that there are several parts to wash. I just add them to our bin with the bottles and wash them together. The handles near the bottom are difficult to attach to the cup for some reason. Other than those two things, I have no complaints about the product. It has a cute design and we will continue to use it!

Nice little cup but baby was not thrilled
We have really struggled with switching our 12 month old from the bottle to a cup. He gladly drinks water from a straw but anything else is a hard no. We received this cup through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I was thrilled to have my child give is a try as it still resembles a bottle and has a nice soft straw that in my opinion is close to a bottle nipple- but he still refused. We attempted several times but did not have much luck. The bottle is otherwise really nice and seems as though it would work for a lot of kids- just not mine.

Dont buy if you have a chewer
Hello I got to try this sippy cup from stellar panel when I first got it. I really enjoyed looking at it. It has a unique look to it. It is very plain though, so I gave my foster daughter. The sippy cup, and within two days she chewed off the top of it!! if I would have given it to my own child years ago, she would’ve made it last 2+ years because my daughter doesn’t chew on cups. I’ll do think for my next set of little ones I will be buying this I just have to make sure that they don’t chew on cups Because it’s a very cool cup

Next step sippy cup
I have been looking for a larger sippy cup since my 1.5 year old wants to drink more than 5 oz at a time. We had been using the NUK Learner Silicone Cup 5 oz and were ready for the next step. My main apprehension when trying a new sippy cup is how well I think it will be able to be cleaned in the dishwasher. I have attached a photo to show how the NUK Learner Straw cup separates. I really like that the straw easily separates into two pieces. You can assemble the cup without the handles as well. You can put the plastic circle, the mouth piece part of the straw and the weighted straw in the the shelf at the top of the dishwasher.
My child likes this cup but it was a slight process to learn not to tip it back like you would with the NUK Learner silicone cup. My younger child does not chew on cups/straws very much which has meant that this straw works for her. I am not sure whether or not my older son would be able to bite through the straw if I wasn't paying attention. I believe that it feels thicker and more sturdy than other silicone straws I've tried in the past which have needed to be replaced after damage.
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this training cup. I was really excited to learn about and try this product.

NUK learner straw
(Received cup through Stellar Product Testing Panel)
Overall, it was a great learner cup. My son quickly took to holding the handle, which fit his little hand perfectly. It took less than a minute for him to grasp the idea of sucking from the straw. I did model the targeted behavior in from of him to provide additional support. The amount of water the cup could hold was appropriate for my son. He was able to drink with ease and didn’t require any extra support for me. My only dislike was where the two straw pieces attach. I felt that over time it could create an issue with how it attaches to each other. On the other hand, my favorite feature of the cup was the weighted straw. Regardless of what angle he held the cup, he was always able to receive water.

Another great NUK cup
I was given this training cup to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The NUK Learner Straw cup is a great addition to our baby transition cups. My 10 month old was already a fan of the NUK sippy cup so she was able to hold this cup very well since it has similar types of handles. It took a few tries for her to get used to the straw because she wasn’t used to drinking from straws yet. At first she just chewed on the straw so I’m glad that it’s made of a soft silicone material! Once she got the hang of it she loved it. A bonus is that the tops are interchangeable with other NUK cups if you have them already. It’s also very easy to clean!

Nuk learner straw
I received the NUK Learner Straw from Stellar product testing panel, and to say my little one love the cup is an understatement. The handles made it easy for her to grab and keep hold of the cup as she’s running through the house. I personally liked that all the parts come off and can be washed separate. Also they have the ounce printed on the side so I knew just how much she had used. The silicone straw, made it easy on my little ones mouth and teeth as she figured out how to use it.

Great transition straw
The NUK straw was a hit with my daughter. The shape of the top/straw mimics a bottle, so she was eager to drink from it. It was also easy to hold and easy for her to get the liquid out! The only issue was using milk, it was pretty difficult to clean the straw part out. I ended up just using it for water to avoid the cleaning issue. Otherwise, great cup!

Nuk straw
We really liked this straw! My son gets frustrated at regular straw cups because the liquid moves to one side. I've cleaned lots of messes from him shaking another cup around. We will definitely be buying more of nuk straw cups. It's easy to clean, dishwasher safe, tall enough for carseat cup holders and it has removable handles! Great straw and cup! We were given this cup and Nuk straw in exchange for reveiw with stellar testing!

Easy to use and an unintended fun toy too
This NUK Learner Straw Cup was received and reviewed through Stellar Product Testing. I'll start with the overall design of the cup. 10/10 for the size and ease of use. The flexible straw made it easy for littles to find it and put in their mouth to use, the length of the straw overall reaches almost all the way to the bottom of the cup leaving nothing behind and the weight of the more bulbous end keeps it in place. The handles made for not only something easy to hold on to while using but also easy to carry around the house or hold on to while eating. The 10oz capacity made it easy to measure out amounts of liquid and not have to refill frequently for a thirsty little. The only complaint I would mention is because of the soft silicone top, while comfortable on their mouths, it made for quite the crumb and dog hair collector in our house. Thankfully, the pieces are super easy to take apart and clean in between uses, but like anything silicone, it tends to attract and hold onto the crumbs and hair when the cup inevitably hits the floor without the cover on it. Overall, I would recommend!

Terrific Training Cup
My daughter is 21 months old and already drinks from a straw. She has strong preferences for grown-up cups and this training cup is one of her favorites!
We have used and loved other smaller cups by the NUK brand, but appreciate the size of this training cup. As a mom that is concerned about the liquid intake of her child, I adore the ounces listed on the side of the cup. Because the vessel is narrow, it easily fits in car seat cup holders, too! She can easily retrieve the cup from the cup holder thanks to the handles.
Another benefit to this cup is the soft silicone straw. As a mobile toddler, she wants to keep her drink in tow, and I don't worry about injuries if she falls with the straw in her mouth.
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this training cup!

Love at First Sip
My 12 month old absolutely loves this cup and so do I! With other transition cups we’ve had issues with them being hard to hold, lids coming off and straws coming out - leading to huge water messes, and hard spouts causing boo boo’s. This cup has solved all those problems!
The handles make it easy for her tiny hands to hold. She caries it everywhere. I absolutely love the straw and lid design - it’s similar to a bottle nipple with the plastic ring to screw it on, but as a straw - it’s genius. No more straws pulled up or out and she can’t get the lid off, yay for no more messes! I also don’t have to worry about her hurting herself because of the soft silicone material used for the straw and sipping area. I even feel comfortable letting her have it in her car seat, which has been great since she’s always screaming for big sisters water bottle in the car.
Some final thoughts: this cup has an amazing design that fixes a lot of the issues we’ve had with other straw cups, giving it the benefits of a sippy without the negative impacts on your toddlers oral health. All the pieces come apart for easy cleaning and it fits in our car seat cupholders. However, at 10 oz, I find it a little large overall. I would love to see this in a 6 oz! I also do not love giving my daughter plastic bottles, I see their place with toddlers, but maybe an inner silicone sleeve in the future, Nuk?!

Great learner cup
First off I’ll start by saying we have been using another straw sippy cup for a few weeks, so my little man had some experience with a straw. I worried giving him a new cup he would not take to it. That’s was not the case! He snatched it right out of my hand like he’d always had it. The cup fit perfectly in his hands and was super easy for him to hold. He took right to the straw as well! What momma liked about the straw was that it was a little shorter which means I didn’t have to worry about him gagging himself like he can on some straws. The straw was soft and flexible with a soft base, which really resembled a bottle top. This would have been a great transition from the bottle to the sippy. I loved that the straw didn’t leak when tipped upside down, and it had a slightly weighted bottom to it. The cup was pretty large as far as milk capacity, although I will say I don’t think I would ever fill it up due to weight once full. So far my favorite feature of the cup has been than milk doesn’t erupt back out of the straw, like the other straw sippy cup we were using. The only thing that I really didn’t like about the cup was that it did not come with anything to clean the straw out. I really wish I would have included a bristle brush to put through the straw. Other than that, great sippy!
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this training cup.
