HONEST TODDLER MOM REVIEW
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this sippy cup. Overall I am very happy with this cup. I have tried many styles of sippy cups over the years and this has been one of my new favorites. I love that the cup is concave in the middle and has textured ridges that help my toddler hold tight to the cup without slipping. It is also truly spill-proof even when held directly upside down (as shown in the picture). The soft, silicone straw is very easy for my toddler to drink from and is soft enough to be gentle on my child's gums yet durable enough to prevent bite marks. What I like most about the cup, however, is how easy it is to clean. The cup comes apart in several pieces to allow a thorough cleaning. It has everything in a cup that a toddler mom could ask for. I would definitely recommend.

NUK FunGrips Straw Cup
I had the opportunity to try this sippy cup as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I’m thrilled to share my experience. The cup claims to be 100% leak-proof, and after putting it through the ultimate test with my one-year-old, I can confidently say it lives up to that promise.
Using this cup gave me such peace of mind. I no longer had to worry about milk spilling on clean clothes, furniture, or the floors. Plus, I felt reassured knowing I didn’t have to deal with hidden mold, as the cup comes apart easily and is dishwasher safe.
The straw design is unlike anything I’ve seen before and is a brilliant example of thoughtful engineering. Thanks to its ergonomic shape, my toddler doesn’t grab the straw, which means less mess and more control. His little hands fit perfectly around the center of the cup, and the soft straw ensures it’s safe for him, even during the occasional tumble at playtime.

Truly leak proof
I am super impressed by this Nuk straw cup! I have purchased other leak-proof brands and had accepted the fact that they all leak a little. Not this cup! My kid has thrown it, dropped it, left it on its side and still does not leak.
The hourglass shape made it easy for my under 2 year old to hold on to the cup. I really liked the green neutral color
I took a star off because I couldn’t find anywhere on the packaging that said the plastic is BPA free. I try to limit plastics with my kid’s food prep so this is a big deal for me.

Perfect for littles
This cup is a new favorite in our house. It fits perfectly in little hands and is so easy to drink from! We also can easily take it on the go because it is spill proof and leak-proof. It comes apart easily and washes in the dishwasher well. I love the soft straw for my toddler because she tends to chew on the hard plastic ones and misshape them so they are hard to drink from eventually. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us this cup, it is everything you could need for a toddler cup!

Leakproof design is the best
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this sippy cup. We’ve gone through our fair share of toddler cups, and the NUK Fun Grips Straw Cup has quickly become one of our favorites. It checks all the boxes for both parents and toddlers.
Leakproof Design
This cup truly lives up to its “leak-proof” promise. Whether it’s rolling around in the car seat or getting tossed across the kitchen, we’ve had zero spills. It gives great peace of mind when you’re on the go or just trying to avoid another cleanup.
Easy for Toddlers to Hold
The contoured shape and textured grip are perfect for little hands. My toddler has no trouble picking it up, holding it securely, and drinking all on their own.
Flexible Straw is a Winner
One of the best features is the soft, flexible straw top. My child loves to bite down on straws (see photo of how she walks around with it), and this one can handle it! It’s soft enough to be gentle on gums and teeth, but durable enough to last—no more chewed-up straws after just a few uses.

Truly leak proof
I received this to try from Stellar Product Testing Panel but I was really impressed with the design of this cup. It has a sleek, modern look and truly lives up to its claim of being leak- and spill-proof—we’ve had no issues, even when it ends up on its side or gets tossed in a diaper bag. My child was able to easily grip the cup thanks to its size and shape, and it seemed very natural for him to drink from it without help.
It did take a few days for my son to feel comfortable using it since it was a new cup, but now he really likes it. It’s especially great for taking on the go since it’s spill-proof and super easy to clean—even after using it with milk, there’s no lingering smell or buildup.
The soft, bendable straw is another big plus. It’s gentle on his gums and flexible enough to move with him while he drinks. What I liked most about this cup was how convenient and mess-free it made everything. I would definitely recommend it to other parents—it’s become one of our go to cup.

Best Toddler Cup
We have tried multiple cups with my two year old and hands down the NUK FunGrips Straw Cup is the best. We received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and we were impressed with the cup from the start. The main reason is because it truly is spill-proof - whether lying on its side, holding it upside down or when my toddler pushes on the straw, no liquid escapes it! Other cups we've tried inevitably cause their contents to push up through the straw or a side hole, but this unique mechanism prevents that issue. We also love that my toddler can easily hold the cup because of the tapered design. The only drawback was that it didn't fit in his car seat cup holder, but he is still able to easily hold it in his lap. There was no issue with the straw pinching or hurting his gums. Truly will be buying more of these for my toddler and his little brother. Highly recommend to any mom!

Easy for her to hold and me to clean
Love this cup! The shape is easy for small hands to hold onto and the soft, bendable straw gives me peace of mind. The cup is so spill proof that I even trusted my toddler to hold it upside down over my couch. I especially appreciate how easy it is to clean. The straw comes apart from the lid in two parts and can be thrown in the dishwasher. I’ll definitely be adding more of these to our collection!

Love Nuk and this straw cup
Nuk has always been our go to brand for cups and bottles and this new straw cup is no exception! Absolutely love the leak proof design! The cup doesn't look like anything fancy but as a soon to be 3rd/4th time mom, functionality is always top priority compared to something that looks cute. Flawless toddler straw cup
After trying plenty of other toddler straw cups and water bottles, this cup is the one that actually checks all the boxes. It is perfect for tiny hands, doesn’t leak or spill, and is a great size - not too big or small. The silicone straw is easy on the mouth, especially when teething. The straw valve isn’t difficult to suck through and it prohibits the drink from becoming pressurized and coming up the straw by itself. Overall, I have absolutely no issues with this cup and my toddler loves it! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing us with the NUK FunGrips Straw Cup!

Our New Favorite
I was given this sippy cup to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I've already ordered three more! Finally a straw sippy cup that is leak proof enough to be trusted with milk. My little one took to this cup right away, it fits great in his hands and I feel good about the soft straw being gentle on his teething gums. He seems to be able to drink easier from this straw as opposed to other straw sippy cups that have a valve. You do need to completely disassemble the straw when washing or some liquid will remain but this is easy enough and it's dishwasher safe so totally worth it for us. I definitely recommend!

Nuk soft straw sippy cup
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this sippy cup. I love that is spill proof, really spill proof. I have used a lot of “spill proof” cups that still leak. This does not leak, and it has been thrown from the high chair several times. It is easy to clean and my child can hold it easily and caught on really quickly with using the soft straw. This is a great sippy cup for little ones to use, I would recommend it.

Cute cup for baby
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending this cup to review! This cup is a perfect addition to our cups that we keep for our 18 month old to drink from. The colors were fun and clean looking, which I appreciated. Even better, the design of the straw and lid makes this a spill and leak proof cup, so we don't have to be overly watchful of where/what position it ends up in! My kid found it super easy to grip and drink from and seemed to like it a lot. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to include a little diagram of the correct breakdown of the components so that frazzled parents don't forget when it comes time to put it back together after washing. Speaking of washing, this is good to go in the dishwasher - super plus!

Fun Cup for My Toddler
Thank you, Stellar, for the opportunity to try out this cup!
Right out of the box, I was impressed by the fun and functional design. My 19-month-old daughter got so excited when she saw the vibrant green color. She immediately grabbed it and took off running. The grooves on the sides are perfectly shaped for little hands, which made it easy for her to hold and drink from on her own.
As for the leak and spill-proof design, it mostly lives up to the promise. The cup didn’t leak even after being tossed across the room (toddler-tested and approved). However, getting the lid to align just right when twisting it closed took a bit of extra attention. I’ve attached a picture to show what I mean. Nothing major, but worth noting.
The soft, bendable straw is another great feature. It’s gentle on my daughter’s gums and easy for her to sip from. That said, she quickly discovered she could flick it and spray water across the room, which she thought was hilarious. That’s probably just a toddler phase though.
What I appreciated most was how easy the cup was to clean. It comes apart effortlessly and it held up well in the dishwasher with no issues.
Overall, it’s a sturdy, toddler-approved cup with a fun design, and I love that it’s truly spill-resistant. I’d definitely recommend it to a friend looking for a mess-free option that kids will be excited to use.

Great leak proof straw cup
I have finally found a truly leak-proof straw cup that can stand up against my kids' chewing! This cup is near perfect. I love the flexible rubber straw, easy-clean design, and hourglass shape for small hands. It is also a great capacity size and the straw is a great shape and size for little mouths and the material holds up against my kiddos who love to chew on their straws. My absolute favorite element of the cup is that it is truly 100% leak-proof. My kids abandon their cups and drop them all over the house and car and I'm always left with a huge puddle to clean, but not with this Nuk. There has not been a drop spilled.
There are a few elements that could bring this cup to the next level. Unfortunately, the cup doesn't fit most standard carseat or backpack cupholders. Also, there is no cover for the straw so if it drops, it might get extra dirty.
All things considered, this cup is near-perfect, and it will be on regular rotation in our house. I recieved this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Actually Spill proof
I received this cup as part of the stellar product testing panel to test out with my kids. I have 4 young kids ranging in age from 15 months to 5 years & all of them easily used this cup and liked it a lot. As most sippy cups in this house, this one has been thrown, tipped upside down, and shaken and has yet to spill!! I have even tried to shake water out of it and it doesn’t spill! I also like how easy it is to clean and it’s very easy for kids little hands to hold onto without it slipping out of their grasp. The straw is also flexible and soft so I don’t worry about it hurting their gums or mouth.

No Spill Sippy
Thanks to Stellar Product testing panel for letting me test the NUK fungrip straw sippy cup. My 18 month old took to it right away and it truly is no spill!
He’s rough boy a throws and coincidentally breaks everything, it’s withstood multiple throws and hits off the floor and not even a drop spilled out! He also is able to grip the cup very well because of the bumpy ridges. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it doesn’t fit into standard car seat or stroller cup holder, but honestly I still choose this cup over others even with knowing it doesn’t fit into a cup holder.
Also, back to having a rough 18 month old, I love the flexible bend straw so I don’t have to worry about him falling into the straw and hurting himself. In addition, it’s super easy to clean, so I don’t have to worry about mold or anything building up. I’d definitely recommend this cup to a friend, and the price is perfect!

Awesome cup
We were super excited to try the NUK FunGrips straw as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It is a great cup for busy toddlers. The spill proof design allows them to have control and carry it around the house without me worrying about it making a mess. The straw seems to be easier for them to drink out of than other straws cups we’ve previously tried, and I love the fact that it is dishwasher safe. My toddler asks for the “new cup” whenever he chooses his cup. When we need more cups I will definitely be buying the NUK FunGrips straw cups!

Great straw cup
This simple straw cup works really well for my 15 month old toddler! I received it from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
I like that the cup base is the same as the other Nuk sippy cups I already have for my 3 year old. It provides a smooth transition from straw cup to sippy cup by simply swapping the lid.
It does not leak, even when my daughter flips it over and drops it on the floor! It is easy for her to hold it and drink from it and the soft, bendable straw keeps her from hurting her teeth.
This cup is just what I need for giving my toddler water during meals. I haven't tried it with a thicker liquid (like smoothie) to know if the straw would be big enough to work. It may be difficult to clean the inside of the straw, so I'll likely just use it for water.

NUK Fun Gripe Straw Cup

My 14-month-old has been using the NUK Fun Grips Straw Cup, and it is perfect for my toddler—no leaks, easy to hold, and super durable. Like all straw cups, there is some leakage when it’s thrown or dropped, but otherwise, it barely leaks. The soft straw is gentle on gums and makes transitioning from bottles simple. The only downside is that cleaning the straw takes a bit of extra effort, but it’s worth it for how well this cup works. It also doesn’t keep drinks cold for long periods. Overall, I would give this straw cup a 4.5/5.

Actually leakproof
I have tried every “leakproof” cup on the market to try to find one my 1 year old can’t spill from. Every single one, she’s found some way to make it leak. This is the holy grail - she likes it, it’s easy for her to drink from (and hold), and it does not leak! She’s been carrying it around the house instead of a water bottle and I’m not worried I’ll find puddles anywhere.
I like that the straw is soft so there’s no way for her to poke/harm herself with it.
My husband commented on how easy it is to disassemble and clean. You do need to take a second and make sure you’ve snapped the straw back in properly. I got it in slightly wrong once and my daughter did pull it out and spill on herself, but she was only able to do that because I didn’t have it fully pushed in so it sealed.
The base of the cup is wide, which helps it not get knocked over, but it does fit in the standard cup holder in our stroller, so that’s an extra win!
I will be recommending this cup to my friends looking for truly leakproof cups, and we will be adding more to our collection, especially with how affordable they are. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this sippy cup.

Just another average cup
I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall this cup is fine, but it does not seem especially innovative or something I would purchase.
My 21 month old son is able to pick up the cup and drink with ease. I appreciate the silicone straw, as it is more gentle than a plastic straw (think no poking the roof of the mouth). He was able to drink water and smoothies out of this cup.
The cup is leakproof when assembled correctly. I am able to hold it upside down and no liquid comes out, as shown in the photo. I do find it a bit difficult to get the straw placed correctly. My son is able to pull the straw out of place and still able to spill it. I have had the cup leak in a bag after he was drinking from it.

Leakproof with design flaws
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this NUK FunGrips Straw Cup. My 18-month-old daughter has been using straw cups since she was 11 months old. Since many of her other cups have a weighted straw and/or handles, she originally wanted to tip this cup back like a regular sippy cup. This was an easy correction. The thing that impressed me the most was that there was no leaking even when my daughter turned the cup upside down and shook it. Unlike her other straw cups, this one did not build up pressure that caused liquid to travel up out of the straw when not drinking.
While I was impressed with this part of the design, we encountered other issues quickly. The first is that the base of the cup is too big to fit in the cupholder of my daughter’s high chair tray, car seat, and stroller. She ended up having to hold it in her lap in the car, which led to the second design flaw. During the five-minute car ride, my daughter figured out how to push the silicon base of the straw out of the lid and into the cup. This allowed all of her water to dump on her and the car seat. I have caught her trying to repeat this on subsequent uses without success, but given enough time, I feel like she could do it again. Correcting these flaws might make this the perfect cup for my daughter, but until then, it will only have limited use at home.

As close to truly leak proof there is
I received this sippy cup from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This was to be used by my third child, an 18 month old boy who LOVES pouring his milk out, and I've tried every bottle and sippy cup under the sun throughout the span of three children and hadn't found one even close to truly leak proof. I was excited to try this but wasn't getting my hopes up. It's awesome! My son took to it instantly, loves that it looks more like his older sibling's big kid cups, and thanks to the grooved design he can hold it one handed toddling around after them very easily despite not having handles. I'm including a photo of me holding the cup upside down with milk in it and not a drop coming out. That's not to say it doesn't leak if it's thrown across a room but it's as close to TRULY leak proof as I've seen. What I love the most about it is how easy it is to clean and feel like it's actually gotten thoroughly cleaned. It easily disassembles into 4 separate pieces so you don't feel like the straw or the mouth of it hasn't gotten enough attention in the dishwasher. Everything feels very clean. And it takes 20 seconds to put back together again. Big fan of this one.

Almost perfect toddler sippy cup
I have been searching high and low for a leak-proof, dishwasher safe sippy cup for my 23-month old son. The NUK FunGrips Straw Cup is almost perfect.
The cup comes fully assembled in its package. I immediately took apart all the pieces to run it through the dishwasher before use. I should have paid attention to how it was assembled because I struggled to put the pieces back together. It’s not just any old straw - it has an additional piece that I believe is the leak-proof mechanism. After some trial and error, I eventually figured it out. I’m including a photo of my son holding the cup upside down - no leaking!
As for the design of the cup, the hourglass shape with ridges made it easy to hold for toddler hands. The only drawback of the hourglass shape is that this cup does not fit into my son’s carseat cupholder; this isn’t a huge problem as we’ve made this a home-use cup, but I do wish that it fit for on-the-go use.
I appreciate that this straw is fairly thick. We recently had to throw out several other straw cups with thin straws that grew mold, so I’m pleased this straw is much thicker so it can be thoroughly and easily washed to avoid this issue. I also love that these NUK cups are interchangeable with the NUK hard spout lids - we have both styles, and it’s so much easier to be able to grab either lid and know it will fit as it's one less thing for tired parents to remember.
In one of my photos, you’ll notice my son tipping the cup to drink out of it. This is not necessary as the straw is designed to stay down, this is just how my son decided to drink out of it when I snapped the photo!
I would recommend this cup to a friend, with the caveat that they should pay attention to assembly before taking the straw apart. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this sippy cup.

It is a great design for little hands to hold and the bendable straw prevents all those chewing marks on the straws. I would recommend to anyone looks for a basic everyday cup that actually doesn’t spill!

Almost leak proof but still great

My almost-two-year-old is always dropping his water bottles in the car. He takes two sips, says "uh oh," and then bam! Cup meets floor. Straw cups are good for the teeth they say, but they are also prone to spilling everywhere! So, I am always game to try different designs that can help me avoid relying solely on sippy cups or having a soggy car floor.
This cup is easy to put together, easy to clean, and has fun colors. My son is sometimes suspicious of new cups, but took to this one right away. It is *almost* spill-proof, but a little bit can leak out of the lid-straw seal if it's turned upside-down. Not a big deal for a quick fix, but if you, say, left it like that in a bag for an hour, it may not pass that test.
That said, it does *much* better than most other straw cups I've encountered, so it's definitely staying in the rotation at my house!

Perfect for tosses and drops
This child's cup has a cute, colorful design that my little one really enjoyed—fun without being overly flashy. I was impressed by its leak- and spill-proof design; it held up well in a diaper bag and even survived a few tosses from the highchair with no mess.

Good sippy cup
I received this product through Stellar Product Testing Panel. This cup allows it to be a sippy cup with a straw and without a straw. The straw looks pretty small but has good flow out of it. It’s easy to hold and very easy to clean. My daughter is a fan of the flexible straws as she chews on them while teething. As far as spill proof I would say it’s as spill proof as any sippy cup meaning it won’t spill if you dump it upside down but when your toddler throws it they always manage to get some liquid out. Overall, it’s a nice cup.

Great cup especially for teething toddler
I received this cup through the Stellar Product Testing Panel!
Here are the pros:
-the straw was perfectly soft for my son’s sensitive gums right now due to teething. He’s been crying and throwing back his normal bottle and sippy cups because of the pressure it takes to suck the liquid out of them. This cup has given him no issues or pain!
-it was big enough to hold enough water for an outing and small enough in the middle for my son’s hands to grip (he’s 20 months).
-my son is essentially an engineer, gifted with the ability to get any liquid out of any cup. With this one, he has had no such luck spilling his water!! So that’s a huge win.
Cons:
-honestly, there are none. This is an all around good toddler cup and a great transition cup from bottle to cup, especially if your little one is teething.
